nie_problem
Na razie namierzyłem taką oto: 100$ Rare Tin of German WW2 Issue Type Shoe Polish. This is an ersatz production container made from pressed paper and glass. I recovered the bottom half of one of these in the Demyansk, Russia region back in the year 2000. Since then I have found the picture above showing German soldiers carrying boxes of Pilo brand shoe polish out of a Wehrmacht supply market in Russia. This is "the tin" that came in these boxes and "the tin" that I recovered the bottom half of back in 2000. You will never find a better documented example for your collection. I have only one of these and its the exact tin as pictured. It measures 2 5/8 x 7/8". http://www.ostfront.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=GOPI-00269-PL-G-2&Category_Code=
